MuseA Poem by KidAnthonyA world without you is like a world without color, Blues become blacks, And artist shudder. A world without me is like a song without words, It keeps on moving, Except there are no shocking turns Now a world without words, And a song without color, Is like a baby born, With no family, no mother His thoughts become blank And his talents are give to another. Let's put this into perspective. Me without you brings out primal fears, Incoherent patterns mixed with emotionless tears I'll feel no desire to fly above the jeers Creating a lifetime of lost achievements and failed years But you without me is a wonder in its self, Like a lost favored book, Found on a shelf. The shock you'll feel when you open your eyes, And I'm not there, but a greater prize. You'll realize this as you visualize, The Song without me, is what keeps me at your side. See, I see your potential. Standing before God with virtue in your mental While embracing your womanhood, creating something essential. Life. You're the color in my song. It's still keeping tempo when I get the words wrong. One day, I hope to be the words to your world. To be the father to a Son, and you be the mother to a girl.
