Harmonic ConvergenceA Poem by Dementia's PenA poem that is also lyrics to a song I wroteNever peeled the eyes back before Or stepped beyond the threshold of my perception Never but this moment fully realizing the white spotted sun I find the missing piece of the divine wrapped in the confines of my mind
The world has color for those who see lest they gape, or awe, or moan at plasticity our spirits walk the evolutionary stripped of rut and rudimentary routine
chop the weighted collar off the dogma set it free scrape the afterbirth from baptismal infancy redirect and re-describe and reignite possibility suffocate ancient ideals to bend the barriers of reality
Plastered smiles on those who stake a claim in the comfort of knowing all and everything desiring little but what they perceive rejecting wisdom of alternate deities
Leave the flesh behind stretch the limits of space and time burn like the star of the Numenor Rise and realize and let our shelter dissipate © 2011 Dementia's PenAuthor's Note
