Silenced

Why? Not why you chose her over me but WHY did you never even tell me?

Why? 

I saw you and her

Standing there

Holding hands and I pretended not to care! 

But on the inside
My heart just screamed.
Why is she your girlfriend
But you never see me? 

Later my head realised 

It  only would  cost more

To believe that your heart cared 

But my heart still was yours to the core. 

You act like a friend

But not a message contents

A word about another girl 

Now I don't trust you, don't give me a whirl.

I liked the message in this poem...it was so full of emotion. I kind of found the rythm a bit hard to read around...but that might just be me. Great job working the emotions so well in your work! Keep writing!!
