The Top Shelf Whisper

The Top Shelf Whisper

A Poem by Matt-R

Be the leather jacket that doesn’t fit anymore,

Be the wasted bottle of bourbon in the sink,

Be my empty bank account,

Be my broken windshield, to my broken car.

Be my broken heart.

I'm not sure if it was the simplicity of the poem, but I actually really love this.
