I'm Fine Pretense

I'm Fine Pretense

A Poem by yuhee
"

What you see might not be real....

"
What reflects on your eyes wasn’t mine
For it was hidden so deep inside
Which was real and which is not
It seems all the answers were lies

How can you reach out
When you can’t even see the truth
Yes, I’m fine
Even though all this time
I am being eaten alive

Such painful reflections in the searching, not even seeing your own soul in the mirror's reflection. How many of us can pull off the masks and feel at home, feel alive? I am thankful you can share these glimpses of the deeper you.
