Everytime the Sun Sets

Everytime the Sun Sets

A Poem by yuhee
"

As I watch the setting sun, these bottled feelings slowly burst up...

"
Like a canvas the sky is
Painted in all shades of orange burst
My heart swells and constrict

Like a painting with van Gogh's stroke
Brought me a sense of desire to flee
Away from reality, away from all

Like a masterpiece in display
So beautiful yet untouchable
A short distance but can never be closed

Like you, the same giant star
I could only watch from afar
In a moment you're right there then suddenly you're gone

Just like the setting sun
Slowly giving way to the twilight night
As I silently mourn to the love I can't have

I'm fond of watching sunset than sunrise. How about you?

I enjoyed how like van gogh, you painted the scenery and combined the feelings with it. Nicely wrote!
