Woe of Medusa

You're vicious and vile but is that really you?

born ugly and wicked
a monster and a beast
but what's behind
the story of yours?
hidden beneath those eyes of gold
you wear scales as your skin
but is it impenetrable of pain?

In the eyes of gods
you were wronged
but it was them
who made the fault
always be remembered
etched in the pages
of history untold
a merciless and vicious fiend
not a young maiden
who desired to be loved
but was taken before she could have

We only see Medusa's ugliness but we never truly questioned what made her that way. In my mind, Medusa was not the predator; she was the victim. In modern times, i see her as a representation of a woman who accused person in power of rape but because the offender had so much power and money, she was instead portrayed as b***h/gold digger extorting money.

Yes there's a similar story of Medusa like that one. We can't really argue since in our modern society, power is everything. Even the most vile criminal, if he had power can be innocent.

I took up an art class in London
and it was very interesting class
They described how the face carries extreme ratios of beauty and utter ugliness ..... and when you are to draw you would magnify the ratio you see first .... Medusa was gorgeous in my opinion made out by a person that only saw her darkness .... she was quite vile the way we were believed to think of her

Beauty can really make anyone blind. Because of all the things, eyes were easiest to deceive. We tend to forget that not all the eyes see are real. Some are downright fake.
