Beautiful Moon, so touching, sometimes is it so hard to lose someone, because you felt so close or good with that one, other wise, new doors open, and positivism can grow into a new chapter... Your wisdom shows, how to capture true love in letting go, and freedom...
I would recommend though taking out a few words to give better meter and flow. I say this as an non technical writer but by sound. so "finding rhyme" not "the".
"someday shine" not "soon" and "johnny be good master class of the mind"
I hope you do not dislike the Beatles, because this reminds me of 'Hey Jude' in all of the best ways. Not really in content... I can't really say why it reminds me...
I would like to tell you about a man I knew once....
One, who even though multiple people told him of his scientific nature (and even with my constant poking), would become highly offended at the slightest inference that he was anything like a scientist.A man who, at the most faint whisper of beauty, was swept up by winds of inspiration and took his readers on distant travels through poetry. A man who, contrary to popular belief, never thought himself anything like a "real poet" but was content to merely scribble words when he wasn't with his first love, the spanish guitar. A man who had the most gentle of hearts and calm of souls but the snarkiest and must crude tongue on the planet. A man who made my face hurt from laughing on a daily basis. Let me tell you of a man who changed me for the better, who healed me, who showed me what the love of a friend was. Let me tell you of a man who gave me back my missing wing and taught me how to fly.
Johnny was never good...he was great.
Your tribute, Moon, is amazing.
