Earth Mother

Earth Mother

A Poem by MOON
"

To all the nurturers out there.

"

In the morn she would be weaving delicate tales

In the furthest flung sorrow soothing wounds that ails

Fly high your golden ocean flags bring in the whales

Nurturing the dewdrops of heaven she unveils

Every secret chamber of your heart, ship sails

Should you slip and slide she erects silver steel rails

Touching minds and souls forever she never fails

Paradise lies at the feet of thy mother, holy grails

ah such blissful courses your mind takes! this is excellent!

'Every secret chamber of your heart, ship sails
Should you slip and slide she erects silver steel rails'

this is potent, wounding dedication to a kind and sweet mother.

A lovely tribute. Cleverly written, full of imagery. My only small issue would be in the second line "In the furthest flung sorrow soothing wounds that ails". "Wounds that ails" doesn't sound quite right. "Wounds that ail" would read better, however, I did enjoy this poem.

Earth Mother or simply all those that nurture the strength , the love , the balance they create in this ever changing world of ours..so necessary and so appreciated..

Lovely mono---
"Paradise lies at the feet of they mother,..."..If only more people knew of this Heavenly fact. Nicely worded.

A glorious glimpse of the wonders of Earth... her beauty, strength, and life that breathes out over each gentle wind...

Genuine reverence displayed by careful word-choice and loving lyrics; stark, meaningful imagery indicates a familiarity with this subject.
It would, I suppose, be expected that anyone who calls herself "Moon" would love the Earth.
Excellent work!

That's just awesome.
The figures you use are great, and you manage to create a very religious and reverent atmosphere without identifying the reason of your devotion but for in the title. I like it a lot when the theme is implied in this way.
Congratulations.
