Earth Mother

To all the nurturers out there.

In the morn she would be weaving delicate tales

In the furthest flung sorrow soothing wounds that ails

Fly high your golden ocean flags bring in the whales

Nurturing the dewdrops of heaven she unveils

Every secret chamber of your heart, ship sails

Should you slip and slide she erects silver steel rails

Touching minds and souls forever she never fails

 Paradise lies at the feet of thy mother, holy grails

Another poem with great intent....Still need to bend it a bit....Relax the rhymes...In the second line Ails does not need an 'S' It reminds me of the first few writings that I did...All those years ago...great promise though
