Life full of grace

You the one who held my hand

You , the one to which , I ran

 

Reading on a park bench

Keeping me from life’s stench

Endless stories you told

Some so warm some so cold

 

Everyday I see your face

In my heart always a place

For the step in my dance

One moment for your glance

 

I know the stars twinkle with your eyes

I know the spirit never dies

I know you walk me through the night

I know my dreams you give flight

What a beautiful tribute to those that have graced us in our lives. The feeling just to be able to run to someone..the rush behind the love of falling into arms of those that truly want to catch us. I think of my Dad with this especially the line. " Keeping me from life’s stench " . Those that truly love also protect us and that guidance is there not for the moment, but for all eternity. Again, you take me to a place deep within my heart.
