The curtain call

You closed the door

There is nothing more

 

Do you call my name?

Tell me what's the game

Is there a soul living in an invisible world?

Is their beauty yet to unfurl

 

It's three years now

I can't fathom how

You left me here

I love you dear

 

 

Will you hold my hand again?

Is there life when the road bends

And love does it live beyond time

In infinity are you still mine

 

 

At every dawning of the day

My love I pray

That you will know

I call your name

Like a falling star

Glittering as you always are

I can never collect the right words to express how I feel about the many that I have loved and lost over the years. I never find the right words to express my condolences for others that have suffered in this way. I have not lost a soulmate to death, just in connection and I think that's not quite the same in my empathy. I suppose that makes me a bad poet never to tackle this subject... some day I hope to find the words. But I can say that the ones that I have lost are never gone from my heart I always take effort to remember them for they are a part of me now. This is beautiful sad poetry Moon and I am sorry for your pain
