Don’t tell me I am not to dance amongst the midnight flowers Walk away pretend the hours of winning your core is done That it is my heart you shun and there is no April showers In the brace of your hold so tight your heart can’t be won When the door slams on this fiery sunset your presence end our hours Still I remember that in your weakening love flowers Don’t tell me there can be no beauty in the breaking dawn In that quintessential moment in eternity I was born
