Journey

 

 

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

Beyond the cracked mirror to heart that is me

There are my steps in the maroon dance of my life

Do I see the lilac calm after years of strife

 

Tell me at the quiet end of the rainbows arc

Is it where light finds the end of the seamless dark

And then I will tell you of the grace of the soul

Perhaps where once I was broken now I am whole

 

Yes in sorrow there are things to have and to hold

Shards that turned into crystal dreams now just pure gold.

See the fragile warrior charging through this world

All the bitter seeds now in full promise unfurls

 

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

Here is my state this is where I was meant to be

With the sorrow of dark journeys I travelled far

I am both the full crimson sun and the lone star

i like the repetition of this line "Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see." Our life's journey is a reflection of the journey of the souls around us as we all experience some ups and down but with a difference on how we handle life's has to offer. very well-penned!
