Loving YouA Poem by MOONDays
I remember cold in the summer heat There
was my heart body and soul there to bleed All
the dreams I desired slipped through my hand Whipped
by bone emotion I could barely stand One
day when hope was all but gone you were there Standing
tall catching my fall I could not care A
blink of an eye all anguish washed away It
seemed that night was suddenly turned to day Now
I hold you in my being soft summer rain You
cleansed wounds and disinfected my pain You
brought me gifts of art and inked storied writes I
could touch the lustrous sky and find new heights Now
I sit in splendour I could not go back You
pointed the track there is nothing I lack In
me all the golden dreams I sought in you In
homage captured heart you altered my view © 2013 MOONReviews
