A Poem by MOON

Let my ship sail out to sea

Find my compass let me be

The step in your heart always

The song in your dance all days

Find me the ink write the word

Let everyone’s voice be heard

Still the drumbeat of all war

Tell me what guns are there for

Hear the children’s cries at night

All that’s inhumane take flight

See dreams of a lit sky

See me and tell me just why

All colours are a delight

There is no black and white

God in everyone don’t fear

Justice finds us this New Year

This poem is wonderful! The poet's eye always has a more intricate and unique way of looking at the world and your poem is a great example to support this statement. Your writing left a smile playing on my face and made my eyes dart back to the beginning of the poem for a re-read. Keep writing!

Let us hope this is the case, my friend. A profound and compassionate song/cry
for Justice. Thank you for this

We can certainly hope and pray for that needed justice--though, for some in positions of power, it will not be at all welcomed.
Outstanding offering, Moon!

I sure hope so, Moon. We could use a renaissance of the spirit. Happy new year to you, my friend.
