Aisle of Sorrow

Aisle of Sorrow

A Poem by MOON

See all time rushing away

Grant me a second without grey

When the stars shine at night

Fool me into thinking all is right

Then on a bright full moon

Lance the wound

With sorrows heaped on pain

Let me hang my head in shame

For the bell when it pealed was for me

Life will never again be

The love filled with style

The moment we waltzed in the aisle

Love the syllable matching line for line here. This has a classical feel to it. Something I'd read if this had been written a century or more ago. Nice work here.

This was so simply beautiful and sad. I loved it, it seemed very heartfelt and touching, which is one of my favorite things about poetry.

Beautiful, Serene, sad, really deeply felt, When The Moon writes, it is out of her heart, and soul... pure expressions, in honest ways... this one could be for a parent, a lover, a family member, but that's in your heart dear.
I enjoyed the beautiful simplicity of this powerful writing, thank you.

Sadly beautiful, makes me think of a union
that should have never been or was doomed
from the start.. Nicely done.

What a beautiful, bittersweet expression so filled with longing... There are the reflections of life... the past and present... Such a moving write.

A lovely ending to a lovely love poem. I usually cringe a little when reading lovely love poems, but this is different. To me it comes off as somebody longing for a love, for the beauty of it at least.

As always Moon you write true and honest and most improntaly, personal. Thats why I love reading your wrok

Soft .. Jazz

To me it seems somewhat powerful. The words also click together like puzzle pieces. Good write.

such a dance of words to refrain in the explanation
of stepping out
to show less than skinless thought
you make sense in the connection of loss...great poem
