Darling

Darling

A Poem by MOON

Colours blend take on a different hue

Standing on a hill with a jaundiced view

I remember you were like morning dew

A dancer on stage an actor on cue

Tossing of a coin all shiny and new

A graceful eagle wingspan as it flew

So why was it that my love never grew

Darling I knew, you too good to be true

yeah. The rhyming was catch... Nice work...

There is a nice peace in this, not sure how to explain it. But it is there, minor cosmetic edits, but peaceful.

short and very sweet I think...It would be awful to actually be too good to be true.
Good stuff

Awww. Delightful rhymes & a wistful wish the love worked out true.

I love how every line rhymes, and yet it isn't overbearing like some poems can be that rhyme. You did an excellent job with poem. I love it!

I've read much of your stuff, but rather than inundate you with comments like "great poem" (there isn't much else I can add to the reviews you've already received) I'll just say here that I love your poetry and you're one of my favourite writers on the site...it ebbs and flows and rhymes and does all those things gorgeously in sync :)
