Sidewalk

Sidewalk

A Poem by Bark's Lounge
"

Circa 2010

"

Strength, stamina, endurance, destruction

Simple puzzles in a simple world

Include unnecessity

Complications and damnations

Inanimate eyes canvas the processing of history

Sometimes too cold and sometimes too hot

Although there is no trick up the sleeve

Stability can be the one holding the cards

Some stories will be told

Some will get lost

As Unfortunate as that may be

But it is our certainty

It is our lesson

It is concrete
