ThunderstormA Poem by MonsterCLAP! BOOM! ROAR! Lightning fills the sky Wind bends the trees Rain wets what was once dry Thunder shakes the knees CLAP! BOOM! ROAR! Animals scurry to shelter Clouds darken and thicken Roofs are hit with a pelter Out in the fields is a stray chicken CLAP! BOOM! ROAR! Families gather by the fire Animals huddle in there dens Insects are silent by the barbwire Dry is the hay, for it's not in the pens CLAP! BOOM! ROAR! My favorite sound in time, My favorite time to watch the sky, Relaxing; it's the best time to try, Being home; only when I watch my sky
