Collection of Various Haikus

Collection of Various Haikus

A Poem by Morgan Purcell
"

Composed of some traditional Haikus. Other Haikus follow Jack Kerouac's thought that due to the language differences the importance is not on set syllables but conveying the poem through three lines

"

Other none other

Forgetfully last in line

Blank stare, Blank heart

Split second judgement

I can never understand

Reacting, No thought

Slugs soaring above my mood

Love unconditioned

Only thing I ask

This wasteland

Not teenage but

Dismal paved desert

Watching TV to

Expand our minds when conver-

sation is the key

Nicotine influx

Unsure of now what's to come

The addiction lives
