Jumble

Jumble

A Poem by MKyleen

Labelled neatly
Waiting to be taken down
It's filled up.
Take off the top
Dump quickly my jumble.
Examine
My longest words.
Wonder
How it can fit in a tiny way.
Lament
Over the dust on every page.
Place your spill next to mine.
Keep some pieces to replace for
Another time.
Shovel your hands
And return all the words you've learned.
Let ink stain and build on your second hands.
Remember
Scars on your skin where letters burned.
Then return it to its rightful seat
And look at my lines lastly.
