A StormA Poem by MayaA poem about a storm, but literally and emotionallyTranquility cannot define A storm that is upon her A breath that stirs the cloudy sky A sigh that says it calms her
A glance up to a moonless night An embrace that lets go never A wish that may, the wish that might Have a moment that lasts forever
A steady beat of raindrops falling A swaying from the wind that's calling A sense of blissful liberty Under a charcoal turbulent sea
A silence that breaks her ruthlessly A last leaf falls from a lifeless tree A sudden stillness that chills her As a darkness pulses through her
A tear that falls from a sleepless eye A sorrow that leaves her feeling weak A gaze at a forgiving sky As a snowflake falls upon her cheek © 2013 Maya |
