INNOCENCE

INNOCENCE

A Poem by MICHAEL

So wise in the ways of the world
thrown to lions in the cage
man in the mirror
other than thou

Replenish my soul in your eyes
dark clouds drifting before
fierce fire of morning

Day of triple nines
September change
Venus stands her distance
from the crescent moon

beautiful imagery.

this is written well. i read it a few times over to try to understand what your true point might have been but even though it is something maybe understated or subtle, i still didnt really pick up on it. i felt like i missed something. like you left something out or maybe just need to add something more.
i kept connected this with things in a more religious manner, but i cant even be sure if that was intended.

overall this is good writing,
good job.
