MOON SHADOWS

MOON SHADOWS

A Poem by MICHAEL

Half moon horizon
south over the city
soft shaded silhouettes
rustle through the budding trees
Last day of winter
Forsythias ring out spring
with golden bells
Robins and cardinals
join the chorus

This has a wonderful feel to it. The sounds really stand out to me. The quiet of the night fading as the trees rustle and the birds start to wake. This is really beautiful.
