A Poem by MICHAEL

If I knocked on your door would you let me in as a friend?

Horizon lightens at the eastern edge
watch the ducks upon the pond
Feel the fingers of the dawn
Chilling touch of night
gone

I know the answer is no
Once twilight is enough

Gorgeous prose. Some of the best I've seen in some weeks here. Well done.
