WELCOME ABOARD

WELCOME ABOARD

A Poem by MICHAEL

Public passengership

Assess people by their shoes

Mine are old and brown

Seen better days

Across the aisle

Construction worker

Hard hat and boots

Beside a high schooler

Pink and stout

Most nod and sway

Driver calls out streets and routes

Hums some old motown sound

Downtown

Work and doubt

Wall street crumbles

Life's the same
