BETRAYAL

BETRAYAL

A Poem by MICHAEL

Please,

     Leave the keys in the mailbox

my heart behind the door

     My soul you can take with you

 It ain't worth much any more

     You stole my faith

along with my car

     Left my love in tatters

ragged on the floor

Oh wow Michael, this was so great even within it simplicity. I don't think one really need to say anything more when it comes to a betrayal like this, and it is the one that could hurt more than anything else in this world.

Just loved how you said;
" My soul you can take with you
It ain't worth much any more"

Really putting the emphasis on the fact of how much this is hurting the person in questioned and how much it really does ends up effecting our day to day lives.

Great work, I loved it!
