Distant

Distant

A Poem by BrokenWishbone

We may be different, but we're both human.
We live and we die.
We may be both human, but we're different.
Our clock do not tick the same,
You see light, I see dark.
We may be living in the same planet, but our world are different.
You can see what I can't, and I can feel what you can't.
We may be speaking the same language, but we never really understand each other.
I know what you don't know, and you want to know what I'm afraid to know.
We may be both existing, but we never meet each other.
I call for your name, but you call for someone else's.
Our dreams may be the same, but we took different paths.
You turned right, I turned left.
We may be both human, we live and we die,
But we're completely different.
