I 'm Not A Bigot

I 'm Not A Bigot

A Poem by Mahmoud Hamad

I Am Not A Bigot
I 'm going to tell a story and read it aloud
About people walked in the heaviest crowd;
Made new town, new city new rules to be ensued
To gather soldiers into on knight,

Trampled on all rails they passed by
Using fairness and equality they did what no one crave,
Discovering the unseen,and knowing the unknown
Empowering them, they swept every throne,

Their judge is inspired by their judge,
Saying all humans are one
They are one body, one mass, one vein
That's what god - Allah - told them in their holy Quran
