You Made Me Give Up

You Made Me Give Up

A Poem by Grey
"

Wrote in 2009. Of course it was about a boy

"
I thought you were different than the rest,
I gave you my best.
You knew mi feelings for you were real,
But you blew them off like no big deal.
I opened up to you but now I will shut you out,
I will get through this with my head held high without a doubt.
I fall in love every time,
But not anymore you were the last time.
I'm tired of getting my heart broken into a million pieces,
You sucked me dry of love like a million leeches.
I was never going to quit until I met you,
Look at what you made me do.
I used to love you but you're starting to annoy,
I can't believe you played with me like a toy.
I'm so angry but yet so sad,
Everything about you makes me so mad!
Why would you ruin me,
I'm afraid of of love so I run you see.
In the beginning I followed you like a pup,
So now I want you to know that you're the one who made me give up.

I am a random, lazy writer. If I don't write it when I think it or when I'm in the mood it will never happen. I try. Aspiring to be a Journalist. Criticism is welcomed. It's not me, but I like it: .. more..
