The Trail

Centuries have come and gone
the water just keeps pushing on
And as in life it flows and turns
through obstacles it’s forced to squirm

A waterfall could represent
free falling changes our way sent
Another obstacle ahead
but not one thing to fear or dread

The river flows a well worn trail
Without a thought it will prevail
Millenniums have come and gone
and still the river pushes on
