Worthless Broken Toy

Worthless Broken Toy

Worthless Broken Toy

Today I had to hide my face
wet from the tears I've cried
I really don't want you to see
the pain I've tried to hide

Misery and disbelief
you've read between my lines
My poems are full of loneliness
I've hoped to leave behind

My daily life is tedious
few tiny shots of joy
Now I tend to see myself
a worthless broken toy

They say that time will heal a heart
but days keep passing by
There seems to be no ending to
 the suffering I find

Within a demons circle
I find myself entrenched
I'm covered in, my own red blood
emotionally spent
