TATTOOA Poem by WrittenmentsTATTOO © Michael Franz Whitby
Knowing that vanity is a fabric of the human makeup It has always been with us and forever will remain
Individuals believing that tattoos is an extension of oneself May have to conclude is just an extension in frailty
Listening to a radio program in Toronto When the subject of tattoo was brought up They were accepting feedbacks’ from those individuals with tattoos
Causing recollection of something heard prior to this program The host of that radio show had some statistical information found on the internet
The checks and balances were done to verify the information for correctness It indicated eighty percent of Canadian population had body tattoos
Being tattoo-less, finding some to be overly unique Creativity plus style, credit must be given When seen!
For the time, the nerve and the amount of cash required Respect! Shown to those brave souls
But on this particular radio show The host aired several participants They described their personal placement and style
The last one played will be remembered It was the comment of a female She said: 'What I am about to say, I am not sure if it can be said on the radio, But my tattoo is on the checks of my butt, it says' "Exit Only!"
The world has changed Verbal expression is no longer the norm It is tattooing written in the flesh
Eighty percent of our population has become human billboards To publicize their personal slogans Because of the places they are located It must be for advertisement only
Most individuals have yet to lay their own eyes on them They have only seen a mirror reflection of their personal ad
Our new walking billboards Of permanent art flesh expressions Thorough tattooing Presently taken to the extreme, in blood!
