I write to say I'm sorry

I'm sorry if you worry

I'm sorry that you care

I'm sorry I'm not there

That last may not be true

Please, I do not blame you

As surely as I confess

My life has been a mess

The pain was getting stronger

And I could take it no longer

So a thought ran through my head

"I would be better off as dead"

If you will want to find me

Attop of the bridge, I will be

Up there I can not stay

Although find me, still, you may

But you will need a boat

For down the river I will float

I'm sorry my dear friend

I'm sorry it had to end

I'm sorry no one could see

I'm sorry for being me

Sorry for everything I said

And I'm sorrry for being dead

a dark poem that conveys very deep feelings, you can feel all the emotions flow from line to line..
it reminds me of a waterfall, like the emotions and the deep sadness it contains flows from the very first line, like water, to the very last line as it creates a lake of feelings, and it's up to the reader whether to drown or swim in the memories it brings to the surface from deep within.
I don't know if I'm making any sense.
