Twist under Torture (2005)A Poem by MC BlodeuweddA reflection poem, using objects to describe who we are
I am a dagger
beautiful and inviting with jewels and shine looking my sharpest. Once I hold your interest I allow you to admire me closely and then, unknowingly, I slice your fingertip. I stab you with my blade to see you twist under torture and I enjoy the pain. Then I become a Raven, seeing what I have done and taking it in. I regret and cry, and I fly away, to not hurt you again. © 2011 MC Blodeuwedd |
