Confusion (2008/2009)

Confusion (2008/2009)

A Poem by MC Blodeuwedd

Oh my inconsistent mind and fickle heart,
how you tear my own soul apart.
Not knowing quite what I desire,
my heart's passion is but a dim fire.
One path be steady and true,
despite there being hardship and rue.
The other is ever changing and free
but in a way that is not kindly seen.
And yet a third choice even lies between the two.
Oh, mind; Oh, heart, What to do?
I know I could be happy with any of these.
Hence why it's so hard to see my destiny.

I liked this. Short and to the point. You don't beat around the bush and make the meaning of the poem perfectly clear. Good work.
