Hey...this is a beautiful portrayal of inner conflict and situations where one can't stay even that person wants to..I believe the speaker is seeking some love and comfort here and wants to forget the outside world and pain...Great poem 😊

I feel here a push and pull kind of situation, the speaker seems to know and are sure of what they feel, but their partner gives them this game of push and pull, one moment they want them, the next they do not. Until they fed up with this and leave, maybe after that the partner learns to appreciate them more. Sad and lovely (I am home, let me stay) I know my heart, does your heart knows this truth?
