Pushed Aside

Pushed Aside

A Poem by Maze
"

Have you ever been hurt so bad, that you chaged to be stronger.

"
I took a step forward, only to take a step back
Pushed aside, I was all alone again
With nowhere to turn, and no hope left
I took a dark turn
They laughed, and provoked me
Waiting for me to strike
With my fist held high
I fought my fight

With a smirk on my face
I turned my back
For yesterday was the past
And tomorrow is my future

Your writing brought tears to my eyes. In other words, I loved it

That's stunning. The pain that dissolves into hope, like darkness into light, is beautiful. I really liked that, and I need to embody that in my own life. Really well done
