Fathers World

Was thinking about the future and how i may someday be a father and it struck me that the most important thing to me would be my kids. Then the thought occurred to me that this is my future.

With everyday that goes by
harder and harder your dad cries
To separate or be apart
does nothing but break his heart
To him this day has come to soon
like the setting sun or rising moon
I represent the coming of the end
and all i am is your boyfriend

I apologize for the whole poem. It was not very well thought out but i just tried something.

it's a nice piece but i wish you could go deeper and express more because for a father's experiences and the final farewell is much more complicated and heartfelt. and you should make the poem longer, its nice.

no the thought was good ^.^, the structure needs a little help and the grammar and so forth but this is a very good idea. I would keep revising and editing this poem until you get exactly what you want out of it. Good job!
