Oh, Angel so far away!

A poem about a man who lives in the tower of god and falls in love with an angel.....

Oh, Angel so far away!

I am vile and repulsive

My back arches and contorts

My blood shines black and blue through transparent skin

These white eyes peer onto you

Oh angel divine!

Your chastity and beauty falls upon my eyes!

Such splendor is too much for my deformed body…

I am rotting to the core

And am burning up in angst

They pour the acid into my eyes

And say to go to hell!

I deserve no more than to burn up in phosphor

But oh Angel of purity!

How i love you so!

Your holy image makes me feel a beast

I want to touch your lips and caress your skin

But such a foul creature like me cannot

Such a selfish wish is abysmal

Because I am vile and repulsive

A lonely, lonely experiment of god

How I yearn for you!

Up up in the tower of babylon

I watch you from afar

As I am chained up to the stake

Forever burning

A lonely vile monster I am

And a pure perfect being you are

Alas, I am just gods toy

I the vile human, and you the inexistent dream

Its all in my head they tell me

Yet I see you with such clarity!

Oh angel of destruction

You make me vile and mad

So let me go from your enchanting grasp!

Set me free I plead

Yet you hold my hand and smile

You tell me to stay just a bit more

And like that I am discarded

They throw me down the tower

I reach out to you in desperacy

Yet you are gone…

Oh fictitious angel

How you have failed me

I the stupid human….

Falling down down beneath the clouds to the unknown…
