The leave of infancy

The leave of infancy

A Poem by MADAM
"

This poem is based off of abortion, so it may be a bit sensitive to some people, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I wrote it from the baby's viewpoint during its final moments.

"
The leave of infancy

I felt the walls close
My head bursts and is bent out of proportion
My skin festers and pops
I hugged the walls in hope and held the red string
I didn't want to die
"So young and fragile" they spoke
The red luminescence began to fade
I wanted to cry but I had no voice
I began dissolving
Slowly...
Slowly...
I began to loose conscious
What a shame
I would never know love or hate
This new world would never come to be
Destroyed and abandoned
Where shall I go?
I had little time left to think
I only remember the desperation and the humming voice
It was over in a flash
And I died
Slowly...
Slowly...
