ArtificialA Poem by MADAMBeing Artificial, is it perfect?
Artificial
I ran an artificial hand through my hair My electric eyes peered into the empty void. The gears in my head began to turn as I saw the fire spread I watched the pre apocalyptic world burn I was unmoving The Serum in my body spread light currents to my heart The missing gear clattered to the ground. But I didn't pick it up It was fine this way I was better this way... Without that gear I was a fine tuned machine I was perfect in absolutely every aspect I never made mistakes That's why I didn't make the mistake of picking it up Not this time Not again... © 2014 MADAMAuthor's Note
