THE ESQUISITES ACADEMY RULES AND DRESS CODE

THE SCHOOL

The school is grand and hidden in the deep trees of Maine. During the summer it stays empty and cool, but when fall approaches it opens its tall doors to students, waiting to learn the ways of magick and open their minds to the abilities they might hold deep inside themselves. The Exquisites Academy was opened many years ago and for all the years it has remind hidden and powerful.

DRESS CODE

Like most Academies the Exquisites Academy has a dress code that corresponds with the gems of the world. Freshmen were blue. The girls are represented by the blue Amazonite which balances feminine energy, and gives off kindness and are lucky gems. For the boys they are represented by the Blue Sapphire. It helps with mental clarity and perception.

The year two class know, as the Sophomore, are yellow or gold. The girls represent the encouraging yellow Topaz. It banishes bad dreams, negative magick, and envy. The boys carry the Tiger Eye which brings good luck and protection.

Juniors carry on the green colors. The girls are lucky to represent the Jade. The Jade is an ancient stone that strengths your mental being and clear reasoning. It also protects against accidents and misfortune. For the boys they have the Emerald gem that helps a troubled mind, brings wisdom, and is a good healing gem.

Finally there are the Seniors who’s last year should be wonderful. They wear the color of white or silver. The girls wear the Herkimer Diamond. The Herkimer is a very strong gem which is used in body travel. It can balance the body’s emotions. The senior boys carry the Howlite gemstone. Just like the Herkimer Diamond it too is very powerful. It helps gaining insight on past lives, and body travel. It teaches patience and absorbs anger.

In all, ALL student must wear their color coordinated uniforms and gemstones. Gemstones are to be worn at all times and once lost a gem CAN NOT be replaced. At the begging of school each student will pick their own gem of their class. The gem can be made into a necklace, bracelet, earrings, brooch, ankle bracelet, pin, cuffed bracelet, and ring. Girls must ALWAYS some sort of heel with their uniform, and hair should be neatly groomed.

No long hair will be allowed for boys to wear and pants will be properly fitted.

Uniforms may be tailored to fit the student.

Very interesting! I like the ideas of the color coordinated dress code, and am glad to see you did some research (even if it happens to be something for which you have a natural talent). Of course, a school about "magic" might be taken as Potter fan fic., so just be prepared to be reviewed by such a crowd (which may mean taking what they say with a grain of salt).

For a first chapter, I would have like to have been introduced to the story. A list of requirements and information isn't exactly groundbreakingly catchy, although it is creative. I'll head over to the next chapter in a little bit (if I forget, please email to remind me!).

Oh, and I think "At the begging of school" should be "At the beginning of school"

Nice work.

Wow, what a unique school. Makes me wonder what the plot is and the NEVER leave the campus thing sounds pretty good.
