CLOUD WALKINGA Poem by M.Joseph BlackAs I walked across the field, The grass covered with virgin snow And as the wind blew, taking along The fine top layer of icy dust Carrying it fast, spirit like smooth, Flowing up and down across the contoured Glistening white surface All past ghosts that have haunted my life Mingled and waltzed with the fine spray And I stood breathless Watching them flit and dance Across the vast whiteness
A whiteness that seemed Not to be snow, but clouds And I walking on air above them
I felt in control for the first time. The God of my destiny. As I looked down on all that had gone before I could breath And move freely I was at peace I was content Cloud walking © 2012 M.Joseph BlackFeatured Review
