Embracing the NightA Poem by M. Karipoem loosely inspired by this prompt- "Skeleton guns are wedding bells in the attic" - Lady Gaga, Marry The NightSkeletons rattle clanking anthems a tribute to all that is lost
Skeletons battle with ghosts long gone bells in the attic
are we Yeah bells in the attic that's me
Sifting shadows dark and dank velveted nights' allure
Sing to me, oh sweet Death I'll marry you one day
Night has settled like ashen rain Indian ink now stains
Color me black don't send me back, Thanatos dear lover of mine
Skeletons rattle clanking anthems a tribute to all that is lost
Skeletons battle with ghosts long gone bells in the attic
for me Yeah it's wedding bells singing for me
Shifting gallows weave and wander in and out of sight
Dance for me darling, Master Macabre I need you all through the night
Veiled in lace I await your touch the gun is loaded I know
Embrace me, erase me call me your own Just take me, oh son of Nyx! Sweet Death and lover of mine
Skeletons rattle
clanking anthems a tribute to all that is lost
Skeletons battle with ghosts long gone bells in the attic
are we Yeah bells in the attic that's me © 2012 M. KariReviews
