ViolinA Poem by LystaI open the case,
and take it out. I rosin the bow, and clean the strings. I start to tune, beginning with "A". First is a scale. A flat major, four octaves I climb. Sixteenth note slurs, then brisk spiccato. Finally I close my eyes, and let my bow dance. A sonata before all else, the intonation must be perfect. I follow with a concerto, Mozart's Concerto No.3. The last one is a waltz, the tempo cannot be off. Then I'll put it down, and let it rest. I await tomorrow, to express my feelings again. © 2015 LystaAuthor's Note
