The Moment I Saw Her

The Moment I Saw Her

A Poem by Lysta

The moment I saw her,
I fell under her spell.
Everyone else,
Looked like a blur.

She was the Bird of Paradise,
In a meadow of white Daisies.
Her eyes were, the blue of ice,
Her hair a silken gold.
Her skin was as fair as pale pearl rice,
Lips the red of rose.

The voice of a siren she had owned
Laughter like the ringing of bells.
Her kindness shone
Her beauty compelled
Was I in love?
I'll never tell.
