Drop OutA Chapter by Ms. Starrjust the new definition of dropping out of our 'schools'
May 4th, 2010
Dropping out. Letting go of all we've been taught to embrace, hold close, to cherish. The closer we keep it, the easier it is to eat into our flesh, through our bones, and taint our souls. (Our hearts have already rotted. Why would it eat that?) Our average education has gone from a privilege to something that is required by law. Resented. As it should be. Simple ABC's. Just a few years letter, turning letters into numbers. We would have gotten scolded for doing that in first grade. Dropping out is waking up, becoming free, and being completely screwed.
