Dance your way into me

Dance your way into me

A Poem by Lyrical Love
"

There is a naked form that must be exposed and then covered by a truth in knowing real love.

"

I’ll meet you away…far, far away… in the dark
Over there by that flowering tree …in the park
The one that smells… so sweetly
You say you want me,
and to be into… me
Look into my eyes and feel~
What my soul sings
Without touching me
My lyrics
will calm your spirit
 as I prepare you
 for this journey…to see
how to… dance your way into me
know that what I say is truth
your fears, tears,
weaknesses and inhibitions
must falter…for this experience with me
I need you to be perfect… in your mind
Perfect in your heart…and pure
Deep in your soul
So that you may endure
What’s ahead…as I start to run
Follow me,
 at my pace
Know my love,
…this is not a race
I am able to keep up with the wind~
…Dancing a gallop for all to see
 believe in yourself
when you see my strength… that you have to be
what I look at, when it is you… I see
My rhythm is starting
I feel myself moving…running, jumping, and leaping
I can soar with HIS wind blowing under
My wings~
…I feel you far in the rear
Heart pounding, preparing to leave your space
That is a dark hole without light, nor vigor
Feeling my words…
Your soul is trying to learn a new tune
Filling your spirit with fresh air
…Eyes closed for the new moon
HE kisses your forehead
You feel yourself becoming anew…and energized
As you start to run
As a warrior would…your heart beat now
sounds like a tribal drum
knowing you listened , and accepted truth
your refuse starts to fall off being lost
in the trees
I run faster to leap over the lake,
Enjoying the cool night air
To start up the mountain
…My soul is prepared
For the light… that soon we will share
As I slow to become conscious
My run is changing to frolic
the tune my heart now beats is a calling of… lyrical love
knowing that you will soon
beam with a new radiance
that comes from being unbound…
knowing that light makes you
limitless, and free…
You are now ready to hold my hand
…Up on the mountain
Under the moon, and in the light

As you dance into me. Copyright © 2008 by Lyrical Love

this poem is about someone excepting god, there basically is one person trying to get a lost soul to run with them into the light of god and once that person gets there they can be free. the both of them in the same light. with perfect souls and a common balance with a higher power. but the thing is that not all sheep were made to go into the light, some of them where meant to be left a stray.

I really enjoyed this poem, I felt it was a different way of expressing in words how the poet accepts God into her life; I really admire the way that was done. Its one of those extremely refreshing and uplifting poems that cannot be forgotten. Well Done.

This was smooth. And it read that way. I feel this poem. The imagery was poignant and it never got redundant.

Even though this is a longer poem than we might like in this world of fast everything, I had to come back and read it again. As expected, it was better the second time through as I am sure it will be with another reading. I see a poem about love and God that reaches another level as the reader follows you, listens to you, and finally earns the right to dance into you.

You know how sometimes you can listen to a song over and over again, never tiring of it?
You have done that with words that allow me to hear the lyrics of this beautiful song you have written.

Well done my friend, very well done!
but I can't get it out of my mind.

So powerfully moving, vivid in form, and alive with all that is beautiful and enduring! Loved the feel of walking and then running, sensing the rhythm and vibrance of each word and phrase... Amazingly lifting!

I embrace your style of writing. It pained me that this piece had to end, but that allowed me to read it again. Each time I read it, it takes me some where else. To me that is what makes a song, book, movie, trip, or anything else you can think of Great, being able to finding something new in something old. One can not create that kind of work, it can not be learned. "It" happens. Thanks.
